These terms and conditions are set in place to safeguard the well-being of all the cats in my care. The following is important information for owners prior to bringing their cats to Cozycatz.

Cozycatz is an animal boarding establishment, a registered business, and is fully licensed with Daventry District Council. The Cattery is insured for Public Liability.

  • The Cattery will take due care and attention at all times to ensure the cats security and well being.

  • All cats must arrive in secure carriers - the cattery cannot accept any responsibility for the loss of a cat where this advice is not observed.

  • The cattery cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage of any customer vehicle whilst parked on the premises.

  • Only cats from the same household can share a chalet - and only by the request and permission of the owner, and the cattery cannot accept liability for a cat who sustains and injury from cat fighting due to sharing a chalet.

  • Un-neutered males over 8 months of age will not be accepted.

  • All cats must be registered with a vet, and up to date with vaccinations against cat flu and feline enteritis. No Un-inoculated cats will be accepted. Clients must provide proof a vaccine.

  • Cats that unexpectedly become ill during their stay, will be moved to an isolation unit if thought to be contagious.

  • If a cat becomes ill, attempts will be made to contact the owner. The cattery will consult a local vet if it is considered necessary. In all cases the cattery will act in the best interest of the cat, and will follow the vets advice at all times.

  • For veterinary care the cattery will use local practices in Market Harborough.

  • All veterinary fees are the responsibility of the owner at all times.

  • The Cattery will administer necessary medication prescribed by a vet, but will not accept liability for problems arising as a result of medication given.

  • The Cozycatz fee for ONE weekday visit to a vet, is £20 per round trip. This increases to £30 a visit for a weekend appointment, in addition to the boarding fee.

  • If the vet decides a cat needs to be admitted, owners will still be required to pay Cozycatz for the remainder of days their cat was booked in for at full cost, as it is very unlikely the chalet will be re-booked at such short notice.

  • All Payments must be settled on, or before, your arrival appointment. BACS and CASH (of the correct amount) are accepted.

  • Should you decide to cut your holiday short and pick your cat up prior to the agreed collection date, the full boarding fee will be charged - this is because the chalet has been reserved for you so the chalet has therefore not been available for any one else to book.

  • CANCELLATIONS - Please give me as much notice as possible if you need to cancel your booking. Cancellations are free, unless your cancellation is within one calendar month of your booking. If this happens you will be charged 50% of your prearrange boarding fee. CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 7 DAYS OF A BOOKING - THE FULL FEE WILL BE CHARGED as it is very unlikely the chalet will be rebooked, so I suffer a loss of income.
